I'm a Londoner and for the past 35 years have lived in the Cotwolds, Worcestershire, UK.

For a medium, photography is bound up in the temporal. Appeared first in the 1820's its capacity to reproduce reality was viewed with awe. Now it’s taken with a pinch of salt. In our image-obsessed, image weary age, we know better. Suddenly we're all photographers. We accept that, from advertising to family albums, photographs can lie. "The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality," said Susan Sontag, "And eventually in one's own."

I adore nakedness, using its glorious rudimentary state with respect to the desired photograph. Two quotes hold true where nudity is concerned. First the words of Michelangelo, "What spirit is so empty and blind, that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed'. The second from John Berger, "Nakedness reveals itself. Nudity is placed on display. The nude is condemned to never being naked. Nudity is a form of dress".

The pictures that I love to create, have sensuous and expressive images full of natural, happy eroticism and self-confident femininity, sensitivity and are very close and cheeky. I like to think I have a penchant for use of available light and a relaxed photo-documentary style, this gives my pictures a natural feel with some Cartier-Bresson touches. Some say my sharp-eyed approach provides sensual and evocative images and may suggest irreverent handling of a subject. I'm beginning to disregard conventional tastes, and some mystery, decadence, and provocative images are emerging into my portfolio - it never ceases to excite me when my images become talked about; whether it's derogative or complimentary.

I love theatrical scenarios and spontaneity is always encouraged; I believe sensation and stagecraft is in all of us. A recent compliment from the USA said, "Your poses calmly whisper passion". A substantial comment and standard to sustain, and a high objective to achieve each time I raise a camera.
